Survey Results for Mrs. Oddo’s Teacher Resources Wiki
I shared my wiki with 12 teachers at a grade level meeting. I thought they would not be interested in my brief presentation after a one hour meeting but actually seemed extremely intrigued. Some of the teachers are currently using the wiki as a resource for themselves and their students. They especially enjoyed the Portaportal page and are currently creating one of their own. I asked them to take a couple minutes and complete the survey I created from Survey Monkey. I had a total of 7 participants. I really appreciated them taking the time out of their busy day to do this for me. The teachers who participated received a small candy bar from me showing my appreciation. I also sent my wiki link to teachers who could not make the meeting.

All the links, Yes, the educational technology resources for students, I’m going to try and use the links, Second grade sites, I’d like you to teach me more about some of the uses for the student tools

Responses:
Portaportal sites, accelerated reader, sites for second graders, web 2.0 sources, the awesome links directed toward interactive sites are perfect and save me a lot of time, I already used your portaportal in the lab, I took my studens to the lab and we explored some of the interactive games on your wiki, what a neat tool

What suggestions do you have in creating a better resource tool?

Yes, yes many wikis are set up differently so this helped me to navigate around the pages, yes I appreciate all your hard work, I skipped over the presentation, but I’m sure it would have been helpful, it took me a bit of exploring on my own to figure it out, yes I think you did a great job in a short amount of time, I logged right on and actually had fun exploring, Thanks!
